I was dreading staying at the Europa Hotel Gatwick, given its budget status, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The hotel looks much better in person than it does in the pictures online, which was a nice surprise. As for the sleep, you really do get what you pay for — it wasn't the most luxurious, but for a budget option, it was decent enough. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple,

櫃檯人員辦理入住手續效率好，房內床舖很小好像單人床，淋浴得小心翼翼，否則會噴到地板。早餐還不錯，有我最喜歡的荷包蛋。

辦理入住時就有渡假的感覺，只是房間真的太小了啦！浴室的水龍頭水量若不小心控制，很容易就噴到水槽外，整個浴室就積水了。

Nice location and the hotel had a spa out the back that cost only £4 for use of Sauna, Steam room, Jacuzzi, and 10m Swimming Pool. Towels were only an extra £1 to hire whilst there so a very reasonable £5 for an afternoon of relaxation. The hotel itself was pleasant whilst a little dated but this meant large rooms with plenty of space without bumping in to each other when moving around. The shower was in the bath which was reasonable with warm but NOT hot water. The tap on the sink could only be described as explosive when it was turned on and sprayed forward and onto anyone standing in front of the sink unless you did it very gently and only turned on about a 10th of it's full capacity. 

Staying here is like stepping into a living museum of how UK hotels gave up trying. The lobby is full of pensioners getting plastered like it’s Liverpool Street Station at 1am on Saturday, the floorboards creak like they’re filing a complaint, and the bathroom sink has one mission: to spray your trousers so you look freshly wet for your flight. Massive warning signs cover the walls, as if management knows the building itself is plotting against you. And don’t bother clinging to the comfort of a checkout time — staff just barge in early, presumably to check you haven’t escaped through the window. Yes, it’s close to Gatwick. But so is dignity, and you won’t find any of that here.

Avoid this place! Dreadful, dated and dirty hotel. The leisure facilities were poor and despite when booking it was advertised as "included" - when we arrived at the pool we were told we had to pay for this separately! Parking was a nightmare, as most of the spaces (including blue badge bays which we were entitled to use) were taken up by "long term parking" which the hotel sells to those flying out on holiday grabbing the money, but to the dettriment of hotel guests who then cannot park at the hotel. We got shrugged shoulders when raising it. The bathroom in our room had not been stocked with toiletries, and a dispenser on the wall in the shower was empty. I asked reception for help to get shrugged shoulders and "there is nothing i can do, here have a bar of soap i found in the drawer!" I asked why they could not get any shampoo etc from the housekeeping store room and was told "nobody has access to it this time of day" (it was late afternoon). The safety restrictor was broken on the balcony doors (we were on 1st floor) meaning it was not safe for children (the hotel was fully booked appaerently). To top it off at 1 in the morning staff were having a very loud discusson shouting at each other at the back of the hotel underneath our windows which woke us up.

The hotel is dated but overall clean + tidy, there was no bath mat in the bathroom which meant that the floor could get wet + slippery. We confirmed out check out time but the cleaners tried to access our room 3 times whilst we were inside and well before our check out time, the first time waking me up and two times whilst I was in the bathroom. There was no means to get a drink unless you wanted something fizzy from the can vending machine. It would have been nice to have some bar service so that I could buy a juice. They do provide water and plastic cups.

Easy to find around 10 mins drive from Gatwick. Good price for a stop over morning flight at Gatwick. Rooms are a little small and plenty of parking. Breakfast was included and nice not busy.
